Vaquisha Black, MA, LPC

From the moment we begin our journey together, my mission is to help you find clarity, resilience, and balance in the chaos of life. With a compassionate heart, I am dedicated to guiding you toward a place of healing and personal growth. Let’s uncover the strength within you and create a path to a brighter tomorrow.

My approach is rooted in the core principles of person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuine connection. I believe that every person has the inherent capacity for growth and self-improvement, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely.

In our work together, you will find a compassionate ally who listens deeply and honors your individual perspective. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you tap into your inner strengths, foster resilience, and create a more fulfilling and authentic life.

I recently graduated with my Masters from Roosevelt University in Mental Health Counseling. I have been practicing for a little over a year. I currently see adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. I’ve worked with a wide range of concerns such as childhood trauma, domestic violence survivors, relationship transitions, work-related stress, identity issues, anxiety, depression, etc.
