Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re seeking support, healing, or a just need a place to feel heard, you’ve taken a meaningful step, and I’m excited to be here for your journey. Whatever the issue or circumstance you are dealing with, it’s always helpful to have a safe space for reflection and growth. Below is a little more about my approach to therapy. With a strong belief in the power of introspection, I strive to create a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; ultimately gaining a deeper understanding of themselves.
I believe authenticity is key to the therapeutic relationship, meeting clients where they are on their journey and supporting them with real, honest conversations. Through a tailored approach, I highlight the importance of personal responsibility and accountability in therapy. By helping clients examine their choices and take ownership of their actions, they empower themselves as individuals to make intentional, positive changes in their lives.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I navigate complex emotional, physical, and psychological effects left behind by developmental trauma. I approach my work with deep empathy, patience, and a strong understanding of how trauma shapes a person’s sense of safety, identity, and relationships. My goal is not just symptom relief but fostering long-term resilience and self-compassion. By offering tools and strategies to help individuals understand their responses, clients are empowered to regain control, rebuild trust in themselves, and foster resilience.
Unprocessed trauma can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, heightened stress-responses, social withdrawal and self-isolation, and difficulty regulating emotions. When developmental trauma shapes the sense of self, difficulties in trusting others, maintaining relationships, or feeling safe in the world may arise. Successfully navigating emotional responses, including feelings of hopelessness, shame, or abandonment, will help you gain a sense of control and rebuild a capacity for trust and emotional stability.
Whether working through past trauma, navigating life transitions, or striving to build healthier habits; our work together will help you uncover inner strengths and develop the tools necessary for lasting change with a commitment to self-compassion, growth, and accountability for anyone seeking to lead a more intentional and fulfilling life.
