You are not a problem to fix. Therapy can help you understand yourself and build a life that actually fits who you are.
Getting to know Amy
Maybe your mind rarely slows down. You feel everything intensely, get overwhelmed more easily than other people seem to, or spend enormous amounts of energy trying to stay organized, meet others’ expectations, and appear “okay.” Maybe you’re feeling disconnected and discouraged.
You may already know you’re neurodivergent, or you may be wondering whether ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivity, or another difference could help explain your experience. You might also be moving through pregnancy, postpartum life, parenthood, matrescence, chronic illness, adolescence, or another transition that has changed how you see yourself.
Many of the people I work with are anxious, burned out, overstimulated, or disconnected from who they are because they spend all their energy doing everything they believe they should be doing. That leaves very little energy left for themselves. My clients aren’t necessarily looking for someone to “fix” them. Many of them want space to understand themselves, find relief, and start the work of creating a life that truly feels like theirs. One that doesn’t drain them and fight them every step of the way.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis or the perfect words for what you’re experiencing to start working on building a life that fits you better.

Who I Help
I especially enjoy working with:
- Neurodivergent adults, adolescents, and children, including people with ADHD or autism and those who are still exploring whether they may be neurodivergent
- People experiencing anxiety, burnout, overstimulation, masking, or persistent self-doubt
- New and expecting parents navigating pregnancy, postpartum life, changing relationships, and shifts in identity
- Adults and young people trying to better understand who they are and what they need
- Adolescents and older children who want therapy to feel collaborative, engaging, and respectful rather than childish or overly clinical
- First-time therapy clients who may feel nervous, uncertain, or unsure where to begin
These are areas I am especially drawn to, but you do not have to fit into one category. We can start with what is happening in your life and figure out together what kind of support would be most helpful.
My Approach
My therapy style is warm, honest, curious, and collaborative. I don’t believe that being the therapist means I know more about your life than you do. You bring your experiences, instincts, values, and self-knowledge. I’ll bring the clinical knowledge, thoughtful questions, and a commitment to helping us understand what is happening together, and how to take steps to make things better.
I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based approaches. I will help you notice and recognize your thoughts and patterns, and practice responding to your internal experiences differently. We’ll identify what matters most to you and take manageable steps toward building a life that reflects your values.
I use an integrative, evidence-informed approach, which means our work will likely include practical coping strategies, creative or expressive activities, body-based awareness, exploration of different “parts” of yourself, and solution-focused tools. What we use depends on what you need, as well as your age, needs, interests, and goals. No two clients have the same experience with me.
Therapy with me is not another place where you have to perform, say the right thing, or become an “optimized” version of yourself. It’s a place to practice dropping the mask you have been holding, become more curious about who you already are, and understand what your mind and body may be communicating. Our work will include experimenting with ways of living that feel more aligned with who you are, giving you energy and agency.
I care deeply about my clients, and I take my responsibility as a therapist seriously. I never pretend to have all the answers. My commitment to my clients is to be honest, continue learning, and work alongside them as we search for greater understanding, relief, and a stronger sense of self.

Why I Became a Therapist
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in technology and product leadership. My work focused on understanding what people truly needed and the why behind the need.
That same curiosity guides my work today.
My own experience navigating postpartum life showed me how easily people can fall through the cracks and how powerful the right conversation at the right moment can be. Eventually, I realized I wanted to be directly involved in helping people navigate life’s most challenging seasons.
Outside the Office
I’m a mom of two young boys, a fiction writer, a yoga enthusiast, and a somewhat reluctant runner. I believe in approaching life with intention and a little bit of whimsy whenever possible.
I bring that same spirit into therapy—a balance of honesty, compassion, curiosity, and practical support.
Prior to entering the counseling field, I spent more than 10 years in product leadership and behavioral systems design, helping people navigate complex challenges and create meaningful change.
