I want to acknowledge that seeking mental health help can feel like entering an unfamiliar world. I
appreciate you for taking the first step by exploring therapy and considering therapists! If you are searching
for or questioning your purpose, I am the therapist for you. Together, we can explore your past and present
in the effort to find your desired future.
I believe my role is to offer guidance and be a resource as you grow, deepen your understanding of
yourself, and empower you to be the expert on your life and needs. You deserve a space to be heard and
have your experiences validated. During our therapeutic relationship, I will create that space. My
therapeutic approach integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Adlerian Therapy. Our sessions will
include revamping interpersonal relationships, creating goals, and discovering new things about yourself.
I am currently in the last year of my Counseling Master’s program at DePaul University. I received my
B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, with a Psychology and Africana Studies degree. I have experience
working with adolescents and young adults. I am passionate about working on accountability, career
exploration, emotional regulation, and building interpersonal relationships with clients. As a professional, I
focus on identity formation, generational trauma, community-based healing practices, and destigmatizing
mental health help.
My personal mantra is, “Your life is your own”. This mantra has seen me through tough, good, and
interesting times. I embody it in all aspects of my life and believe that together we can create a positive
mantra that drives you forward also!
